Fall is a lovely time of year – a time when God paints beautiful landscapes all around us. Here in Northern Michigan, our fall change of colors is simply breathtaking… the paintings in the wilderness are beyond comprehension.
This is the time of year when the changing outdoors makes me want to bring the colors and smells of fall indoors to my kitchen! To celebrate fall, I have four super fun fall recipe ideas that are also easy (because I. NEED. EASY. in the kitchen). I found these four recipes online, and they are sure to please your littles ones or anyone you might be entertaining this time of year. Check these out…
Four Fun Fall Recipe Ideas:
1. Pumpkin Bread with Pumpkin Cream Cheese. All I can say is YUM! This recipe also has gluten-free, nut-free, dairy-free, and egg-free options!
2. Pumpkin Muffins. This is the easiest recipe I’ve ever made! I sometimes feel like “cheating” using a box mix, but this recipe is great when you’re in a hurry and the extra ingredients really doctor it up. This is perfect when need to make something quick!
3. Baked Applesauce. I don’t know about you, but the fall season always has me yearning for anything apples! This is a baked recipe, so you don’t have to worry about cutting your apples perfectly! And your house will smell delicious!
4. Pumpkin Spice Coffee/Mocha. Skip the overpriced pumpkin lattes and make your own. Control the ingredients and your pocket book!
All of these would be great for after-school snacks for your kids, except for the last one. I put that one in this round-up for you well-deserving parents! Enjoy!
