Jesus In Me Week 8 — Trusting in the Priority of the Holy Spirit

Likewise, the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. — Romans 8:26

The Holy Spirit’s priority is to glorify Jesus and make Him known to you. To guide you in all truth as He transforms you into the image of Jesus. ~ Anne

Welcome to our final week of Jesus In Me. Has this been tremendously inspiring to you? I hope so because I am fired up! I’m fired up to move forward with the Holy Spirit, Jesus in Me, as my counselor and friend leading and guiding me in all truth every step of the way.

Jesus is the whole deal. He is what it is all about, beginning to end. He’s the priority. Numero Uno. Let’s get ourselves realigned correctly so that every single thing falls behind Him because He’s worth it. He’s worthy of our lives and our hearts!

The Holy Spirit guides and leads us through this life straight to Jesus!

The Holy Spirit’s priority is Jesus. From the beginning in the book of Genesis to the end in the book of Revelation, it’s all about Jesus! ~ Anne

He wants to speak to us through the Word of God.

He prays for us. Jesus-before-Bethlehem is with us in spirit form and He prays for us about everything concerning us. Everything! Big issues, little issues, major problems, minor things, He’s there for it. He cares about it. You know how you can talk to your best friend about the huge issues of your life but also about how annoying it is that the kids ate the entire bag of Trader Joe’s White Cheddar Corn Puffs that you were saving for yourself — and she’s totally with you for the whole spectrum? It’s like that, but better!

You can bring it all to the Holy Spirit. Cry out to the Him! Moan and groan. Be completely honest. He will translate your prayers correctly into holy and heavenly language.

He grieves when we go another way. He mourns when we choose to pull back from Jesus and distrust Him.

Grief is a love word. We’re not to grieve the Holy Spirit because He loves you and He loves me. ~ Anne

He rejoices over us. He wants the best for us. He’s our coach, our counselor, our friend, our pastor.

Jesus is the whole deal.

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. — Isaiah 43:2

In our worst and most troubled times, there is Jesus, right with us. Isn’t that astonishing and gorgeous?

What or who is your priority?

Let’s make it be Jesus only!
