Giving Thanks

Lord of the universe, You are amazing!
You designed and formed the heavens and earth
and all they contain.
You open Your hand to provide
and satisfy the desires of every living thing.
From Your abundance You have poured out blessings and piled them up.
You are worthy, great God, of all honor and praise! Thank You for creating me,
for making me exactly the way I am and in Your image. Thank You for giving me senses
to experience Your marvelous world,
for surrounding me with beauty
that captures my heart and fills me with wonder. Thank You for giving me breath after breath
to experience You in myriad ways.
Truly, in You I live and move and have my being.
Lord, keep my soul awake to Your gifts I live with daily! I exalt You and lift up to You a grateful heart.
I worship You for Your infinite power and love,
for Your endless generosity and kindness.
