Jesus In Me Week 4 — Relying on the Power of the Holy Spirit

Jesus In Me Week 4 — Relying on the Power of the Holy Spirit

Be filled with the Holy Spirit. — Ephesians 5:18

As you rely on Him, moment by moment, day by day, He will change you from glory to glory… until other people can see Jesus in you. ~ Anne

Can you believe we’re already in session four of the Jesus In MeOnline Bible Study? How’s it going this week? Are you getting into studying the Bible on your own? Remember, you don’t need to feel behind. Take your time with the Lord and let Him guide you to investigate more deeply if you feel so led! Stop and listen as you study. This is such a great practice, isn’t it?

I think most of us would agree that life is harder than we expected it would be. Certain seasons, though, whoooooo… we can grow so frustrated and complain, This shouldn’t be so hard!

I want to do everything I can to work with God, not against Him. Don’t you? In those times when there’s not a lick of strength left, He’s the power within that we need. When we don’t have a clue what to do or what the answer is, He has the wisdom. In deep bereavement when we can barely hang on, He is the incomparable Comforter.

We activate the power [of God within us] through our cooperation with the Holy Spirit as we fully surrender to Him, as we obey Him, and as we place our faith and our trust in Him. ~ Anne

This is an “all in” kind of life. God gets every single part of my life. My prayer is, “Access it all, Jesus! Get out whatever is blocking Your access in my life. Change me from the inside out. Cleanse me. Fill me. Move in me.”

Moment by moment surrender to the moment by moment control of the Holy Spirit. ~ Anne

You, too?

Today, let’s say on repeat:

Holy Spirit, I am Yours. Have Your way in my life.

Prayer for the Week

Holy Spirit, we love You. God we ask that You would remove anything in our lives that blocks our access to You. We grant You access to every part of us. We want all of You and we want You to have all of us. Fill us, Lord. Keep filling us. We want to go from glory to glory (2 Corinthians 3:18) and become more like You every day until people see more You than us! We love you, Holy Spirit! Amen.
