One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision: “Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent. For I am with you, and no one is going to attack and harm you, because I have many people in this city.” — Acts 18:9-10
Hey, friends! It’s our final week of the Verse Mapping: Acts Online Bible Study. Can you believe it? Not that we are by any means done, because we’re not! I don’t know about you, but verse mapping was new to me, and it’s been so helpful in my faith walk so I’m going to keep at it!
Last week we talked about Peter’s best moment and that sweet kind of faith that trusts in the Lord so much so that we can actually sleep in the middle of the craziest storms of our lives. This week we’re in for some seriously good stuff — feasting! Are you ready?.. because abundance is waiting for us.
Verse Mapping is about unlocking the abundance of God’s Word that is there waiting for us, gathering with Him, learning from the Holy Spirit, and stepping out on our story road to share what He’s done in our lives. ~ Kristy
Kristy uses the metaphor of “The Feast” to help us see that learning from the Holy Spirit through God’s Word will feed us and sustain us for all our days! I couldn’t help but picture eating from one of those endless buffets (like the never-ending Soup & Salad from Olive Garden… but set in the beautiful countryside of Tuscany surrounded by His Glory!).! Once you ask God to lead you deeper into His Word, He will guide you, teach you, and provide you with all that you need! There’s so much more than we could ever imagine right in the Word of God for us. We don’t have to bring anything but ourselves with listening ears and hearts.
We don’t need to bring our fears or failures to this table. It’s already set, already supplies. We just need to sit down and feast on the Word until full. ~ Kristy
If there’s one chief thing that the lives of the Apostles and other heroes of the Bible teach us it’s that giving our all for Jesus is the best way to live. It’s worth it! It’s all worth it!
Whatever you’re going through right now, don’t be discouraged. Don’t be afraid. Keep going. Keep going for Jesus.
You are not alone. God is with you. You will continue to be under His protection even in the middle of raging storms. That doesn’t mean “bad” stuff won’t happen; it just means that Jesus will be with us and it will be worth it!
The more we seek God, speak of Him, and adopt fearlessness in our study time in His Word, the less we will be so afraid that we flee — or give up on God’s presence. ~ Kristy
Jesus always leads us to fullness. Always!

Prayer for the Week
Jesus, we love You! Thank You, Lord, that You are always with us, always for us, always preparing the way before us. Thank You that You have set Heaven ahead for us and You’re guiding us all the way there. Thank You that You’re willing to go with us as deep as we are; there’s no limit to the relationship You’ll have with us. Keep drawing us unto Yourself. We love You and adore You! Amen.
