Father, I thank You for the companionship I find in You when I am alone. Your Word declares that You put the lonely in families.1 A full life comes through the connection that we have with our brothers and sisters in Christ. I pray that You would send godly friends into my life that love You and are friends to the destiny and purpose that You have for my life.
- Lord, I ask that You bring me into fellowship with other believers that love You with all their hearts, minds, souls, and strength.
Lord, thank You for the friendships and family in Your Kingdom that You will bring to walk with me, and I pray that You would be at the center of every friendship and relationship that comes into my life. My hope is in You, my strength is in You, and all that I will ever need is found in You, Jesus. You are still my first love, and by faith I receive all I have prayed for today. In Jesus’ name, amen.

When You Have a Heavy Heart
Jesus, my heart is Yours, and I thank You that I am Your delight, and You are mine. I willingly open my heart to be pruned, purified, and refined by Your Holy Spirit. You are the vine; I am the branch,2 and today I surrender every area of my life that hinders Your love from reaching the depths of what You desire for me.
Teach me to say yes to You quickly, without reservation.
I pray that You would remove the distractions that weigh on my heart. I give them to You. Lord, I pray that You will keep the flame of Your love lit in my heart even when everything around me is changing and life seems to be shaking. I declare today that I find my rest in You even when chaos is all around me. Impress on my heart the only thing that never changes in this world, and that is Your deep love for me, Father. You are the uncreated, unchanging, eternal God, and Your Word declares that You are the same yesterday, today, and forever.3 If there is any apathy in my heart, no matter how subtle it may be, I pray that You would break the power of it over me and that You would release resurrection power over my life. In Jesus’ name, amen.
